Type into a shape

Double-click a shape and start typing. The text appears in the shape’s text block. Press Esc or click outside the shape to finish.

Double-clicking a group opens the group instead; double-click a shape inside it to edit that shape’s text.

Add a text box

Choose the Text tool (Ctrl+2) and click on the page. Larrygram adds a text-only shape and starts editing it.

While you edit

Standard text keys work in the editor: arrows, Home and End, Ctrl+A to select all, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V to copy, cut and paste text.

Fonts

Larrygram draws text with open fonts it bundles: Carlito stands in for Calibri and Selawik for Segoe UI, which Larrygram cannot ship.

Known limits

• Text formatting commands (bold, italic, size, alignment) are listed in both layouts but not built yet.
• When you edit a shape’s text, the whole text becomes one run with the first run’s formatting.
