MCP and control channel

Planned

Larrygram plans a JSON control channel and an MCP server (larrygram-control) so that scripts and AI agents can open drawings, run commands and read results. The work is scheduled as the last phase of the alpha plan and is paused for now.

Caution

Nothing on this page exists yet. There is no protocol, schema or command list to document. This page will hold them when the work starts.

What is designed so far

• The control channel will dispatch the same command ids as the app and the command-line tool, through the command registry.
• The inspect summary is already shared between the CLI and the future control channel, so its JSON form is the model for results.
